Grand Master Choa Kok Sui, a Filipino of Chinese descent was born on the 15th of August 1952 into a business family. He received formal education and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. Apart from being a successful businessman, he propagated Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga across the globe.
At the tender age of 12 years, he showed a keen interest in yoga, psychic phenomena, mysticism, Chinese Ki Kung, and other esoteric sciences. He was closely associated with Yogis, healers, clairvoyants, practitioners of Chinese Ki Kung, and other special persons. GMCKS and his clairvoyant friends spent 18 years experimenting with the effectiveness and mechanisms of the healing techniques. He then established the Institute for Inner Studies in 1987 in the Philippines through which he published his first book, ‘Miracles through Pranic Healing’. Thus, he is regarded as the founder of Modern Pranic Healing and Arhatic Yoga. With the guidance of his spiritual Guru, Lord Mahaguruji Mei Ling, GMCKS went on to reveal more advanced healing techniques with his subsequent books.
In his 20’s and early 30’s, GMCKS experimented on a series of advanced spiritual techniques, which he later named Arhatic Yoga and taught his senior disciples. Since he personally experimented on his body and soul for a prolonged period, he left his body on the 19th of March 2007, at the age of 54, which is observed as ‘Mahasamadhi Day’.
GMCKS’ great vision is to produce one Pranic Healer in every family and one Arhatic Yogi for a thousand people, which when achieved will fulfill his mission ‘to have heaven on earth’.
GMCKS is a spiritual teacher who exemplified his life, upholding spirituality as a science, but a science that is deeper and far beyond the external physical world and hence is popularly known as ‘scientist of the soul’.
